How to share a project or folder

Modified on Fri, 7 Oct, 2022 at 2:27 PM

WorkFlow includes an advanced method of sharing using what we call WebViewer. When a project or individual folder is shared, a secure webspace is created that viewers can access anytime, from any devices such as mobile, tablet, laptop, and desktop devices.

To share an entire project or just an individual project long-press the item or select the from the 3-dot menu within the item, Share. You will be prompted with the Share screen where you can:

  • Enable and disable sharing of item.

  • View, enter, or change that password

  • Enter allowed email addresses.

You can enable or disable the shared webspace permanently or temporary as you see fit. This helps you manage when people have access. The auto-generated link is permanent and does not change when enabled or disabled.

The password field is used to secure your webspace. WorkFlow auto-enters a password for you but you can change it at any time.

For additional security, you can enter email addresses, separated by a commas. This will require a visitor to enter their email address and password to gain access.

When you are ready to share, tap the “Share” button. The share sheet of your device will be displayed showing several options depending on your device and installed apps. WorkFlow prepares a custom message that you can send anywhere. Just select your desired app, or copy to clipboard and you are all set. WorkFlows message includes the following:

If you included an email address, you could simply email the message to your recipient addressed to that email address.

Security Warning: Be sure to select a password that is appropriate for your desired level of security. We recommend not using 123456, qwerty, password, etc.
